I was off work and the kids were off school today, so we all went downtown to Salt Lake City and had lunch with my folks. They’re serving a mission in the Family History Mission of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Dad does Worldwide Support for the Indexing service, and Mom works in the mission office. They go back home to North Carolina in just under 3 months. It was fun to see where they’re working. The boys had a good time running around the fountains on Temple Square after lunch. Too bad it was raining a bit, but it takes more than a little rain to dampen little boys’ energy!
Donella drove us down and back. She acquitted herself quite well driving amongst the extensive construction detours downtown! She’s a good little driver.
