Hmm … Ravelry.com is a closed community

Turns out that Ravelry.com is a completely closed community at present. That means that those of you who don’t have logins there can’t see the project pics. I chatted wtih Ravelry.com this morning and encouraged them to open up the project pages, for example, as a means to let users drive traffic to Ravelry.com.They’ve been discussing that and plan for it some time in the future.

In the mean time, I’ll try to figure out another workable way to handle picks and project updates. I could upload to Flickr, then link those to Ravelry, but that’s a duplication of work. I could simply upload here and build my own gallery, but then I do want to keep the Ravelry stuff updated, too, since it’s helpfulf or linking to patterns and such.

Anyway, I’ll figure it out. In the mean time, to see the knitting pics, you’ll have to create a (free) Ravelry.com login.
